Sleeve sealing cartons and boxes
Cartons and boxes can be suitable for sleeve sealing when the pack format, film route and shrink tunnel are matched to the product. The machine choice depends on pack size, pack weight, output and how square or stable the pack remains through the tunnel.
A carton sleeve sealer may be used for grouped boxes, tray packs or transit packs where the film is used to hold the load together or add handling security. Conveyor height and outfeed handling should be considered early in the project.
Lancing can review carton dimensions, pack count and production speed to advise whether a sleeve sealer, L sealer or other shrink wrapping route is the better starting point.
