Quotation evidence

Prepare one complete sleeve sealer quotation pack

A useful machinery quotation needs enough evidence to define the product, bundle, film, line and acceptance conditions. Supplying the same information to every proposed supplier also makes the technical scope easier to compare.

Information to attach to a sleeve sealer enquiry
AreaUseful evidenceWhy it matters
Product and bundleDimensions, filled weight, photographs, product count, orientation and tray, pad or trayless format.Defines collation, guide, seal-opening, tunnel-aperture and handling requirements.
PE filmSupplier, grade, thickness, width, roll diameter, core and an example roll where available.Allows the proposed film path, overlap, seal and shrink response to be assessed with production material.
Output and line flowRequired sustained rate, upstream source, product pitch, line direction, conveyor height and downstream destination.Separates a complete-line requirement from an isolated machine cycle and identifies accumulation or handover risks.
Site and utilitiesLayout drawing, access route, available space, electrical supply, compressed air where applicable and extraction or ventilation constraints.Supports installation planning without assuming that a reference configuration will fit the final site.
AcceptanceFormats to be tested, running duration, normal stops and restarts, finished-pack criteria and evidence to retain.Creates a shared basis for sample trials, Factory Acceptance Testing and project sign-off.

Send representative samples, not only nominal dimensions

Nominal drawings do not always show product movement, flexible packs, raised features, sharp edges or the way a filled product behaves during collation and shrinking. Where practical, send representative products, trays or pads and the proposed PE film. Identify the smallest, largest, heaviest, least stable and most heat-sensitive formats so the review covers the difficult cases as well as the normal pack.

The specification checklist, sample-trial and FAT guide and site-preparation guide provide the supporting detail.
