Product and bundle schedule
Information to provide for every materially different format
| Product | Name or SKU, dimensions, filled weight, shape, surface, temperature and any heat-sensitive component. |
| Bundle | Count, row pattern, orientation, tray or pad, overall dimensions, required openings and finished weight. |
| Film | PE grade, thickness, roll width, core, shrink information, print registration requirement and approved supplier where known. |
| Rate | Required sustained packs per minute or hour, upstream arrival rate, shift pattern and normal gaps or interruptions. |
| Line | Direction, conveyor heights, available footprint, operator side, utilities, controls interfaces and downstream handover. |
| Acceptance | Seal, shrink appearance, pack integrity, product condition, cooling, handling and output criteria. |
Representative sample set
Provide enough production products or weight-matched samples to form repeated bundles, including the smallest, largest, heaviest and least stable formats. Include the intended tray, pad, labels and film. Identify any sample that differs from production so its limitation is understood.
Trial protocol
- Confirm the product, bundle pattern, film and required finished-pack standard.
- Establish safe guide, film, seal and tunnel settings according to the machine instructions.
- Run repeated packs under representative infeed and tunnel-loading conditions.
- Observe normal stops, restarts and any agreed format change.
- Cool the packs and perform representative transfer, lifting or stacking checks.
- Record the accepted settings, output conditions, photographs and any exclusions.
Acceptance criteria
Use measurable or observable criteria agreed before the trial. Examples include correct bundle count, a continuous seal, no unacceptable holes or product distortion, an agreed visual finish, stable cooling and successful representative handling. Any output figure should identify the exact pack, film and operating conditions.
Utilities and site conditions
Confirm voltage, frequency, installed load, compressed air where required, ventilation, ambient conditions, access and space. Do not infer unlisted utilities from reference dimensions or speed figures. The final quotation and machine documentation should identify the supplied scope.
