What an inline sleeve sealer layout means
An inline sleeve sealer layout is built around straight-through product movement. Products normally travel from the infeed conveyor into the film wrapping and sealing section, then through a shrink tunnel and on to the outfeed.
This layout is often considered where the product is already stable on a conveyor and does not need complex side collation before sealing. It can suit trays, long products, cartons and some grouped packs where the infeed presentation is consistent.
Specification points for inline sleeve sealing
- Infeed conveyor height, belt width and transfer points.
- Pack length, width, height and spacing before the sealing jaw.
- Photocell detection and seal timing for repeated pack lengths.
- Shrink tunnel belt speed, airflow and cooling after the tunnel.
- Access space for film change, maintenance and operator controls.
| Best fit | Stable packs that can move through the line without side collation. |
|---|---|
| Layout benefit | Straight flow through the sealer, tunnel and outfeed conveyor. |
| Key risk | Poor spacing or unstable product presentation before the seal area. |
