Define the multipack first
The machine should be selected around the finished multipack: how many products are included, whether a tray is used, how heavy the pack is and how it will be handled after wrapping.
For bottles, cans and cartons, the same machine family may be considered, but the guides, infeed, film width and tunnel settings can vary significantly.
Sleeve sealing versus other packaging routes
Sleeve sealing is useful when film containment is required around a product group. It is not always the best route for single retail packs or packs that require a fully closed bag seal.
If the project includes multiple packaging methods, Lancing can advise whether sleeve sealing, L-sealing, chamber sealing or another route should be considered.
Information that improves the recommendation
A useful multipack enquiry includes product size, pack count, pack weight, tray use, target output and a plan of the available space. Photographs or samples help check pack stability.
The result is a more practical recommendation and fewer changes after the machine is installed.

|---|---|
| Number of products | Affects pack length and film width. |
| Product shape | Controls guiding and stability. |
| Tray use | Changes support and film shrink finish. |
| Production flow | Determines integration and automation route. |
