PE film and sleeve sealing
PE film is commonly associated with sleeve sealing and transit pack shrink wrapping because it can suit grouped products, multipacks and tray formats when specified correctly. The film route should be matched with the pack, tunnel and required finish.
Film width, film thickness, roll handling, tunnel temperature and airflow all affect the final pack. A sleeve sealer quotation should therefore cover the machine and the heat tunnel as a complete process rather than treating film as an afterthought.
Lancing can advise on the sleeve sealer and tunnel route once the product dimensions, finished pack size, desired film finish and output requirement are known.
